How To Build Your Own “Cruise Control” Marketing And Lead Generation System

by Ewen Makepeace on December 16, 2009

Most people are pressed for time and seeking for ways to control what small time they have.  The 2nd most noted grounds for not starting an MLM business, following not having any money, is no available time.

This is from a lack of knowledge that there are other ways than spending most of your PERSONAL time to generate leads for your home business.  If you are a person who works a common full time position, which is usually around 40-50 hours per week, it can be exceedingly hard to muster the mental and physical strength to add on a further 20-30 hours just to try and grow a successful company on a part time bases.  When will you sleep?  Eat?  Do fun things with your family?  Unwind???

Lead generation is the most important thing for your online business, so you have to take it seriously.  So, here are a few tips you can do to clear up some time in your lead generation efforts.

1. Build a capture page website – the only function of this style of site is to generate leads for you that have an interest in speaking to you about your home based business.  If done correctly, this website feature will separate and categorize each lead for you, stopping the necessity to manually separate or track where they come from.

2. Obtain an auto-responder service – If you mean on keeping in contact with your leads on a regular basis, this service is invaluable.  It sends emails to contacts automatically so you are able to build a following of people who look forward to your correspondence.  All you have to do is write some emails to put in the autoresponder and choose how often the emails are sent. You never let pass an introduction, follow up, or follow through communication. When you are ready to get your own system in place, Aweber and GetResponse are good choices.

3. Get a personal assistant – If you are short on time, hiring a personal assistant to go through your leads and picking through them to find the qualified prospects is the way to go.  Simply supply a list of qualifying questions with minimum requirements to the person you hired, and tell them to only deliver to you leads who are sincerely interested in doing business.

4. Create content that can be used over again – By submitting quality content to targeted online websites in numerous places (i.e. video hosting sites, directories, article submission services) you improve the visibility of your knowledge by positioning it in front of a stable flow of new traffic without having to re-submit new content.  Videos and articles will remain online forever, so the work you do today will continue to work for you in the future.

If you want to try to build a business and only have around ten hours a week choose one or two marketing strategies and work them consistently.

This way you can spend time doing the things you really want to do rather than spending all of your time building a home business.  Several of the top income earners in MLM/Network Marketing make use of these techniques on a regular basis because it allows them to talk to a substantial number of people, all pre-qualified, and commonly prepared to do business without doing all the mundane work themselves.

Leveraging your time and money is just smart business, if you ask me.  So, learn ways to designate the drudgery of your network marketing business to systems and processes as regularly as possible.
